Admission
Admission to the Sixth Form will be for any student who meets the minimum academic standards:
- At least a grade 4 in English (Language or Literature) and 4 in mathematics;
- A minimum GCSE Best 8 Point Score of 35.
All students must also meet the specific entry requirements for the subjects they wish to study (see 'Entry Requirements' below).
The Pupil Admission Number for external students is 50.

Sixth Form Open Evening

Sixth Form Open Evening for 2027 Entry will take place on Thursday 26 November 2026 between 4pm-6pm

The Head of Sixth Form Talk for internal students in Attenborough and Seacole Houses will be at 4pm

The Head of Sixth Form Talk for internal students in Franklin and Turing Houses will be at 5pm

External students from other schools are welcome to come to either talk

Application
Applications for Queens' Sixth Form will be made via Applicaa.
Applications open on Friday 27 November 2026 at 9am and close on Friday 26 February 2027 9am.
