The final day of term will be a non-uniform day for students. We encourage students to donate £2 to help raise funds to support the charitable work of the QPA (Queens' Parents Association) and the four Houses at Queens'. Any student wishing to take part in the non-uniform day should bring £2 to school and put it in the collection buckets that staff will be holding on both gates from 8am-8.30am. We are so excited for the Queens' Law Society team to compete in The Bar Mock Trial Competition. The competition helps young people understand how the law touches every aspect of their lives, gaining an insight into how the legal justice system works. The team has been given access to resources, including specially written criminal cases, to help teams prepare legal arguments. We are once again holding a special festive themed event where students and staff are encouraged to wear a Christmas jumper to school and donate at least £2 to charity. This is a normal uniform day where a Christmas jumper can be worn over a school shirt if a donation is made. Participation is entirely optional. This year we will be giving participants the option of donating to one of two charities. Suggested donation is £2. Watford Food Bank and Community Relief Trust Save the Children Please refer to the email sent out on 28/11 for details of how to donate through JustGiving. If students would prefer to donate with cash, this can be handed in to reception.
