Welcome to the October edition of the PE Newsletter
Netball

It's been a fantastic half-term for netball across all age groups. The Year 9s kicked off with a comfortable 9-5 victory at St Clement Danes, showing great teamwork and determination. Meanwhile, the Year 7s played their first game together, making impressive strides in confidence and resilience on the court. Player of the Match awards went to Martha (Year 9), Charlotte R, and Kayla (Year 7) for their standout performances.
The Year 9 and 10 teams continued their winning streak with two impressive victories against Parmiters. The Year 9s triumphed 8-6, while the Year 10s dominated with an 18-6 win, with Sienna and Alice earning Player of the Match. Another strong showing came in the Year 9s’ match against Bushey Meads, where their combination of aggressive attacking play and solid defence secured a 14-4 win. Isabelle was named Player of the Match for her exceptional contribution. Year 10s also celebrated their first netball victory of the season against Bushey Meads, with Katie receiving Player of the Match.
Boys Football

The boys have made an incredible start to the football season. Our Year 7s made a sensational debut with an 8-0 win, while the Year 9s recorded a 3-1 victory over The Grange. The Year 10s claimed their first National Cup win with a 8-1 result against Aylesbury Grammar. The team’s early performances have been consistently strong, with Leo and Logan making notable contributions, including two crucial goals in the District League 3-1 victory over JOA.
Year 8s also made their mark with a hard-fought 3-2 win in the National Cup, securing their place in the next round. The Year 9 team continues to impress, adding two District League wins to their record alongside an 8-0 triumph in the National Cup. A fantastic set of results across all age groups demonstrates excellent teamwork, skill, and determination from our boys.
Girls Football

Our girls' teams have also had an impressive start to the season. The U15s achieved a thrilling 2-1 victory over Parmiters in the league, showcasing resilience and composure in a closely contested match. In addition, our girls performed exceptionally well in the Power League tournaments, with the U15s finishing in second place yesterday, highlighting a strong and promising start to the year.
Basketball

The Year 10 Boys Basketball Team continues to shine with another sensational performance, defeating Sandringham School by 10 points. Their skill, teamwork, and consistency on the court are setting a high standard for the season ahead.
