We took two groups of Y10 GCSE Food students to West Herts College back in June who were taught by a professional chef how to fillet two types of fish, cook them three different ways and finally present to a high standard using sophisticated garnishing techniques. 

The Year 8 trip to Legoland was a huge success and the students were a credit to the school.

The Y12 Product Design students covered part of the processes, techniques and specialist tools 3.1 at Ore Projects (rubinowilson.com/ore-projects) where they experienced first-hand welding techniques. 

Nichola O'Brien is leaving us after 14 years at Queens'. She has been an integral part of the D&T textiles team and a caring and supportive form tutor. We will miss her and wish her all the happiness in her retirement.
