Our students have represented the school with pride, determination and excellent sportsmanship throughout the term.
Athletics
It has been an outstanding season for our athletics teams, with fantastic performances at both the District Athletics Championships and the County Plate Final.
Our students travelled to Woodside Stadium for the District Athletics Championships, where all four of our teams competed with determination, enthusiasm and excellent sportsmanship. Every athlete represented the school with pride, and we were delighted to celebrate a number of District Champions.
Congratulations to our District Champions:

- Luke – Javelin
- Ada – 200m
- Bailey – High Jump
- Chris – Triple Jump

In addition to these fantastic achievements, many more of our students secured top-three finishes in their events, well done to everyone who took part!
The success continued at the County Plate Final, where our Under-16 boys and Under-14 girls teams competed against some of the strongest schools in the county. Our Under-16 boys produced a superb team performance to be crowned County Plate Champions. Outstanding contributions came from Jackson, Ryan, Oliver, Bailey, Luke, and the relay team, whose performances helped secure the victory. Our Under-14 girls also impressed, finishing in an excellent third place. Special congratulations go to Ada, Henrietta, Savannah, Olivia and the relay team, who all delivered brilliant performances throughout the competition.

Cricket and Rounders
It has also been a busy and successful term for our cricket and rounders teams. Although a number of fixtures were unfortunately cancelled due to the extreme weather, those that went ahead saw our students produce some fantastic performances.
Both the cricket teams enjoyed a number of impressive victories against local schools, in rounders, our Year 8 and Year 10 girls' teams both achieved an excellent third place in their respective tournaments. Congratulations to all of the players for their fantastic efforts and commitment.
Cheerleading
Our Queens' of Herts Cheerleaders have done it again, being crowned champions of their division at the Summer Games Competition at the end of May. The team delivered an outstanding routine, performing with confidence, energy and precision. Their stunts were faultless, and their hard work and dedication shone through from start to finish!

Padel Courts
This term has also seen the introduction of our brand-new padel courts, giving students the opportunity to experience one of the world's fastest-growing sports during their PE lessons.
The response has been fantastic, with students embracing the opportunity to learn a new sport. They have shown great respect for the facilities and have thoroughly enjoyed developing their skills on the courts.

We are excited to continue growing padel at Queens' and can't wait to see which future padel stars emerge from our students in the years to come!
This term has been filled with memorable sporting moments and incredible achievements. Whether competing at district and county level, representing the school in team sports, or embracing new sporting opportunities, every student has contributed to a fantastic summer of sport.
Huge congratulations to all of our athletes, players and cheerleaders for their hard work, commitment and success. We look forward to another exciting year of sporting achievements at Queens'!
