Gym and Dance show 2026
Our annual Gym and Dance Show was once again a fantastic celebration of our talented students. The outstanding performances showcased the hard work and commitment of our students. We were also delighted to raise a fantastic amount of money through our raffle, with prizes kindly donated by Mr Filer.
A massive thank you goes to Bethany and Morgan for giving up their Wednesday after-school time to teach choreography to our KS3 and KS4 Dance Club students, and to all of the coaches for their incredible choreography and support across the performances. Special thanks also to Mr Lindsey and Hudson for providing excellent lighting and sound throughout the evening.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success. Here’s to another successful show next year and another opportunity to showcase our talented students!

Athletics
We have also had a fantastic start to our County League athletics meets, with many of our students achieving top three finishes across a range of events. It has been wonderful to see such determination, teamwork and success from all involved.
Our Wednesday Athletics Club has also seen outstanding attendance, with over 200 students taking part each week. We hope this enthusiasm continues and encourages even more students to come along and get involved in the future!

Bupa Health care visitors
Our KS5 students recently had the opportunity to take part in an engaging and informative session delivered by health advisors from Bupa. Students explored a range of careers within healthcare and learned about how the human body adapts and changes over time. It was fantastic to see students applying the knowledge and understanding gained in their lessons to real-life career pathways and future opportunities within the healthcare industry. The session was both inspiring and highly engaging for all involved- thank you to our guest speakers!

Year 10 Cricket
The team got off to a flyer with 2 fantastic victories over St Clement Danes and Aldenham School. Chasing down a mammoth 140 runs off 15 overs in the first game vs SCD, a brilliant innings by Ayush and Saif, ably supported by Luke meant that Queens’ secured the victory with 3 overs to spare. In the second game vs Aldenham, a better bowling display saw the visitors restricted to 100 runs. Again Ayush and Saif got off to a solid start and the team managed to sneak home a victory with 2 overs to spare. Please feel free to support the team.
Remaining fixtures:
19th May v St Margrets @ Away
11th June v Rickmansworth @ Home
1st July v Parmiters @ Home
Girls Football
I am incredibly proud to celebrate a fantastic season for all of our girls’ football teams. Throughout the season, the girls showed outstanding commitment, teamwork, and determination, playing some truly amazing football along the way. Their hard work on and off the pitch has been rewarded with well deserved success. I am pleased to announce the results for the District League as follows:
U12s - Champions
U13s - Champions
U15s - Champions
Seniors - Champions
This is an amazing achievement for all the players and the school. Massive well done and congratulations to everyone that played a part in this unforgettable season.

Boys Football
At the time of the last newsletter, before Easter, the football leagues had not been finished and we were waiting for a few results from other schools to see where we had finished in the District Leagues. I am pleased to say that the final finishing positions for each of the ‘A’ teams were as follows:
Year 7 - Champions
Year 8 - Champions
Year 9 - Champions
Year 10 - Champions
Year 11 - Champions
This is an unprecedented achievement and I cannot remember any school having achieved this before, certainly not in my 28 years at the school. A huge congratulations to all the boys who represented the school at football and hopefully we can continue this next year.
Mr Dunn
Year 9 Cricket
The team have only played 1 match so far and that was against a very strong Aldenham team. Unfortunately the cricket gods were not on our side as Aldenham surpassed our score of 103 (15 overs) in 11 overs. A shining performance was Jack who scored 45 and has continued his good form with the bat, that he showed last year.
