Year 9 visit to RAF Northolt

In mid January, 14 year 9 students visited RAF Northolt.  They had a tour around the base and learnt about the work of the meteorology centre.  Many thanks to Mrs Manning & Mr Lewis for taking them.

Year 10 trip to Poland

In the first week of February, 39 year 10 students along with Mrs Charlton, Miss Alaaldin, Mr Brothwood and Mr Mistry visited Krakow.  During their four day trip, they visited the Jewish quarter, Salt Mines and Auschwitz Birkenau.  They also met with a Holocaust survivor and heard their amazing story.  This was our third annual visit and look forward to taking the current year 9 in February 2027.

Model United Nations

On Wednesday 4th February a group of ten Queens students attended the annual Model United Nations at Northwood College School. Representing a range of committees and countries, students were challenged to find resolutions to a number of key issues on topics including Women's Rights and the Colonisation of Space. Students debated against delegates from a number of prestigious schools, including Harrow School, but they were all able to hold their ground.

Congratulations to all those who attended. Special mention should go to Will P (12AE) and Andreea C-P (12TM) who both won best delegates for their respective committees.

Wishing you all a wonderful half term
