All 3 teams have now completed their Training Expedition (held in December 2012) and should be meeting on a regular basis to discuss key expedition issues such as menu planning, itineraries, hygiene, fundraising, fitness, camp craft, visas, vaccinations and teamwork.
All Flight and Itinerary details are now available on the MyWorldChallenge website and I know everyone is now getting very excited as July rapidly approaches.
I am pleased to confirm the following dates of forthcoming meetings
1. Team Building Session for all Teams – Tuesday 12th March (times and venue tbc- likely 2:45 - 4:45pm sports hall / south side fields / outdoor classroom)
2. Parents’ Information Evening on Wednesday 24 April 2013 from 4.00pm - 7:00pm.
IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT EVERY CHALLENGER AND PARENT/GUARDIAN IS AT THIS MEETING. Parents / Guardians will join us from 6:00 – 7:00pm. Venue – Sixth Form Centre.
Each team will be accompanied by 2 School Leaders and 1 World Challenge Expedition Leader. The School Leaders are as follows

The following are confirmed:
2. Training Expedition which I can confirm has been booked for Saturday 17 – Sunday 18 November in Hemel Hempstead. All challengers must attend both as they are compulsory – details to follow from World Challenge.
Also I have booked a Kit Talk at Costwold Outdoor Watford for July 3rd 18:30 – 19:30 this academic year. Please make every effort to attend – their advice is very good even if you choose to buy kit elsewhere.
