This table is for use as a guide only.
The figures quoted below are the marks that were the lowest, in that particular year, to achieve entry under the Academic, Music and Sports Criteria. THEY ARE NOT pass marks or marks that must be achieved in order to gain an offer of a place at Queens’ School.
The lowest mark is that obtained by an applicant when the number of places available for that criterion is reached, whatever that may be.
Each year is different. Therefore, the lowest mark required for a place in Year 7 in September will be known only when the offers have been made. These scores are from Allocation Day on 1st March, and whose permanent residence is located within postcodes WD3-7, WD17-19, WD23-25, AL2 (south of M25), HA6, HA5 3**, HA5 4**, HA3 6**, HA7 3**, HA7 4**
|Furthest distance under this criteria||1413.650||1429.780||1063.28|
Please note that the variation in the academic test scores from 2015 to 2016 was due to a change of provider for the Verbal Reasoning test. (Adding 25 to the scores for 2016 will bring them into roughly the same range as those for 2014 and 2015.)
There is no pass mark for the academic test, places being offered in accordance with our admission arrangements.
Once you have received your test score on Monday 16th October, you will be able to decide which school(s) you wish to apply to.
*Please be aware that since entry 2016 the Consortium has had a different provider for its Verbal Reasoning tests. The variation in the academic test scores from 2014/2015 to 2016 was due to this change of provider for the Verbal Reasoning test. (The consortium has used the new provider for entry 2017.)
