New Careers Initiative

Queens’ School began an exciting new careers initiative this year, building on last year’s successful ‘Dare to Know’ talks to the Sixth Form, with parents volunteering their time over a lunchtime to present their occupations and experiences of the world of work. Thus far we have had stimulating talks from Mark Davidson of Telefonica O2, Andy Liddell of The Daily Express and the social worker Sian Henry. We look forward to more talks in the next half term on careers in engineering design, family support and SMART home technology. For more information about our talks, and all things careers, please access our page on the school website under ‘School Life’, and our Twitter feed Careers@Queens’.
