Governing Body

RW1_6733The main role of the governors is to work with the headteacher to set the strategic direction and guiding principles of the school.  We provide specialist knowledge and skills to help develop the school and provide support for the teachers and staff. These include finance, law, HR and project management.

Members of the governing body have a strong interest in the school.

Much of the regular business of the school is considered by governors in specialist committees which take reports, analyse information and discuss issues in detail providing clear advice and guidance.  They meet each half term and report back to the Full Governing Body with actions and recommendations.  There are two such committees at Queens’
